Hey there! I'm excited to share with you the amazing experience I had while creating a Peppermint Gingerbread tray. Thanks to Chalk Couture surface, it was an absolute breeze to assemble and design.
First off, I wanted to get the perfect color for my tray, so I opted for a Candy Apple paste. I diluted it with some water to make it look more like paint and then applied it to the surface in multiple layers to achieve a deep red shade. Once I was happy with the hue, I let it dry and then used a light sandpaper to create a stripped pattern on top.
If you want to see the process in action, check out the quick video I made.
And take a look at my finished tray, all decorated and proudly sitting on display on my kitchen island! With these trays, you can really personalize them by adding some extra decor pieces.
