Hey there! I'm excited to share with you the amazing experience I had while creating a Peppermint Gingerbread tray. Thanks to Chalk Couture surface, it was an absolute breeze to assemble and design.  First off, I wanted to get the perfect color for my tray, so I opted for a Candy Apple paste. I diluted it with some water to make it look more like paint and then applied it to the surface in multiple layers to achieve a deep red shade. Once I was happy with the hue, I let it dry and then used a light sandpaper to create a stripped pattern on top.  If you want to see the process in action, check out the quick video I made. I don’t know about you but I am totally a sucker for some beautiful nutcrackers. Plus, check out ALL of that detail!!  I hope you enjoy today’s project. I really wanted to keep it simple and just show off the elegance of our silk screen transfer designs. I can totally see myself using this one over and over again. In fact I totally did!!  Come check out how I put together this amazing Shadow Box using Chalk Couture products!! This has been on of my favorite projects from this past month and is perfect for taking your home’s decor well into the winter months.   Is that not the cutest little project ever?! And the best part is that I attached lights on the inside so it has a beautiful glow to it.  I had a feeling this project was going to be a big hit, so I recorded a video showing how to make one of your very own.
