Layering With Transfers

Today I wanted to show you a fun technique that works excellent with our Etched Transfer line that can be found here. I decided to go Halloween with mine and used the Etched Skull transfer. Didn’t it come out wonderfully!?

This transfer is spectacular for anyone that loves vintage Halloween and features 7 transfers that are sure to keep you crafting all season long. Here check out another piece that comes with this set.

I decided to use the scripted portion to cover my black frame Slyvie board. Then I took some tacky tape and adhered that skull. The skull was layered using Black Velvet, Orange Peel, and Lakeshore pastes. You can see how I achieved that offsetting look in the video.

Here’s another look at that finished project. I hope you enjoyed this new technique and try it out for yourself. It’s such a great finished look.

There’s no better feeling than looking at something YOU created and thinking, Wow, I made that! 💖 It’s an easy way to add joy to your day. Every month, you get a beautiful, ready-to-go DIY project delivered to your door —all the creativity, NONE of the stress. 📦 This month’s design:   🛍️ Join the club & make ...
