That's right folks, whether you are an artisan or a newbie Chalk Couture is all the rave, as the new, mess-free, option to home decor.

So, what's this all about? 

If you have been with us for a while then you know that the Art Studio is based on custom vinyl projects...so needless to say things will change a little around here. No worries though, because we are streamlining our process so now EVERYONE can create with us!

The surfaces are still an endless array of options from signs to pillow covers, shirts, drink-ware, and much much more. The application will be much easier. We will use a newly formulated paste or professional grade ink and a reusable Silk Screen transfer!! Meaning, we are still creating all the fabulous product bases that S/S Designs has always carried, except now we will be using a new technique designed to give us cleaner, longer-lasting designs. PLUS again, anyone can do it, so we will be bringing classes back to the lineup!

First, A Little CC BackgroundChalk Couture began with two moms who had a dream—to create custom décor that was foolproof to create, easy to clean up, and a ton of fun to make again and again. Hence, the start of a wonderful new DIY home decor revolution using Reusable Chalk Transfers and washable Chalkology Paste/Inks. These category-creating products are seriously the next big trend!!

That's Right! Chalk Couture is not only made for selling fabulous high-end finished products, and extending the Art Studio's line, but they also make it their mission to "seize each moment...and to share our gifts and elevate others"(don't you simply love that!)To check out more hands-on DIY projects come on over to our Design Lounge where we feature tutorials, tips, and LIVE crafting events every week! So, whether you’re interested in creating beautiful projects with ease or designing your own fabulous future, Chalk Couture is here to show you how.

How Do I Start?? If you want to know more about Chalkology and how to create wonderful, high-end, DIY home decor pieces, then make sure to join us at our first New Year Event (details above!)  During this 30 minutes, we will explore one of Chalk Couture's "Try Me" Kits. These kits are the perfect beginner kit because they feature everything you need to make a completed project. This gives us an opportunity to try Chalkology and see if it's really for you. 

This event will be LIVE over on Zoom and participants can either pop in to say "Hello!" and check what Chalk Couture is all about OR they can purchase their own project kit and join us in a virtual hands-on demonstration. Do you have a crafting community? 

If you are ready to try Chalkology but you cannot attend this event then that's OK too! There are many different ways to get involved with our community. 

For instance, our Facebook Group is a great way to learn about other events (like Club Couture, which is our monthly subscription box!!) as well as specials, new releases, and of course a lot more tutorials, tips, and techniques.
