1 Transfer, Multiple Layers - Nutcrackers

Hey there! I have an awesome technique to share with you today to add depth to a single transfer. It's so easy that all you need is a paintbrush and your favorite paste colors.  To get started, you'll need to add the base layer in white to outline the areas where you want to apply the other colors. Once you have your foundation set, you can use a small mini squeegee and paintbrush to fill in the details. The key is to not worry about achieving perfection at this stage because we'll be adding top colors to refine the project later.  If you're a visual learner, I have a video below for you to check out. This technique can help elevate your Chalk Couture projects and make them stand out. The best part is that it's relatively easy to do, and you'll be able to impress your friends and family with your newfound skills. So, go ahead and give it a try! I hope you'll love it as much as I do! To shop this project's supply list make sure to head on over to my Chalk...

Updated Vintage Hoop - Simple Shape Addition

Greetings! I wanted to share a recent project I worked on, which was creating a base door sign using Chalk Couture’s Hoop Wreath . You can check out that original post by clicking here .  After completing the sign, I was inspired to add more depth to it, so I decided to pair the same Vintage Merry Christmas transfer with the coordinating simple shapes to create additional detail. The sign can be customized to match your personal style, as it can be kept classic with black or given an extra pop with red simple shapes. The project turned out to be a lot of fun, and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I did. Here's my video tutorial on how to add the new simple shapes.  If you're interested in seeing more fun projects like this, make sure to subscribe to receive updates.  You can find the post and shop this line at CC Hoop Wreath . Please let me know what you think about the project!

DIY Holiday Cards

Are you ready for some holiday DIY fun?  In today’s video, I'm going to show you an easy and creative way to make Christmas cards that your loved ones will adore. We'll be using vintage postcard transfers that will give your cards a beautiful and unique touch. Before we start, here's a little tip: if you're using chalk on paper, make sure to grab some surface wax and apply a thin layer to the paper before you apply the transfer. This will help the transfer stick better and last longer.
